Needles 2 are axially retained by means of a ring 1 of L-shaped cross-section mounted on a pin 4 by a circlip 35, wherein the part of the ring 1 forming the arm parallel to the bearing axis is provided with at least one projection 7 which prevents a roller 5 from sliding axially off the needles but is resiliently deformable inwardly to permit the roller to be passed thereover during assembly. Each projection 7 may be obtained either by local radial deformation of the peripheral edge of the said arm, or by local flattening or flanging of the edge. |
