DIELETRIC COMPOSITION AND CERAMIC ELECTRONIC COMPONENT MANUFACTURED THEREFROM

PURPOSE: A dieletric composition is provided to form an inner electrode using inexpensive Ni because a firing temperature can be lowered, to lower production costs, and to obtain high-capacity ceramic electronic components. CONSTITUTION: A dieletric composition comprises (a) barium titanate with specific surface area of 2.5 ~ 6.0 m^2/g, (b) a mixture containing at least one selected from the group consisting of at least one oxide of Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba and Zr and at least one carbides; (c) oxides containing at least one selected from the group consisting of Sc, Y, La, Ac, Ce, Pr, Nd, Pm, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb and Lu; (d) oxides containing at least one selected from the group consisting of Cr, Mn, Fe, Co and Ni; (e) oxides containing at least one selected from the group consisting of V, Nb and Ta; and (f) oxides containing at least one selected from the group consisting of Si and Al.
