<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce rotational load of a motor of a turning barrel display device. <P>SOLUTION: In this turning barrel display device, an endless belt-like pattern display body 2 having a designated width is wrapped round a driving wheel 11 and a driven wheel 21, and the driving wheel 11 is driven by a motor to thereby rotate the pattern display body 2. The pattern display body 2 is provided with a pattern display body side engagement parts formed by a plurality of recesses 6 or protrusions 7 disposed along the rotating direction, the driving wheel 11 is provided with a plurality of driving wheel side engagement parts disposed along the circumferential direction and engaged with the pattern display body side engagement parts to transmit the power of the motor to the pattern display body 2; and the driven wheel 21 is provided with a circumferential surface 25a having no protrusion or recess engaged with the pattern display body side engagement part in regions corresponding to the pattern display body side engagement parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
