PURPOSE: A furniture integrated drawer type safe connected with a home network for crime prevention, and an operating method thereof are provided to prevent a crime by sending a signal or an alarm to a PC or a police station when the safe is not opened. CONSTITUTION: A furniture integrated drawer type safe connected with a home network for crime prevention comprises a drawer(10), a body(20), a sensor unit(40), and a communication unit(60). The drawer has a battery housing unit(11), an operation unit(12), and a drawer locking unit(30). The body has a body locking unit(50). The sensor unit is formed in one side of the drawer locking unit, and senses operation of the drawer. The communication unit is formed in one side of the body locking unit, and selectively contacted with the sensor unit. When the drawer is abnormally opened, the communication unit transfers a signal to the outside.
