PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retrieve a recommended route including toll roads requiring tolls corresponding to a reduction in time in the case of a route retrieval including toll roads. SOLUTION: In the case that a retrieval with a preference, for example, for toll roads is requested, this navigation system newly retrieves a route which bypasses toll roads included in a retrieved route. Then a recommended route is finally determined from among the original route and a bypass route by threshold value determination processing on the basis of travel time and tolls.
