A loader comprises a chassis 1 having pivoted to it a beam 3 which is moved by a ram 33 and carries a bucket or shovel 50, the latter being pivoted by a ram 47 through a cranked lever 29, a link 39, a link arm 34 and a link 58. The beam 3 is formed from pressed upper and lower members 10, 11 having internal reinforcing members and welded together along lines 15. When the beam is pivoted upwardly from the position shown to a horizontal position, with the ram 47 stationary, the bucket or shovel has a rollback of 5‹, and when it is pivoted to its maximum height the bucket or shovel returns to its initial angular position. |
