<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle hood capable of further reducing an impact when an object falls against the hood from above. <P>SOLUTION: A left fixing portion 2E and a right fixing portion 2F of a front striker 2 are arranged in the same position in a fore-and-aft direction positioned above a front end side of an engaging part 2A for locking, and there is formed a space that can greatly deform a proximity of a front end part of the hood 1 including a lock reinforcement 1C downward above the engaging part 2A, which is the back of the left fixing portion 2E and the right fixing portion 2F. Thus, when an object falls against the front end part of the hood 1 from above, the front end part of the hood 1 greatly deforms downward from a portion immediately behind the left fixing portion 2E and the right fixing portion 2F, and the large energy absorption stroke further reduces the impact. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
