<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support a short support for supporting lower furring strips provided along a lower edge of a panel by a top surface of a coping when the support is erected for the arrangement of the panel in an upper position under construction conditions that one kind of coping can adapt to external facing materials with various thicknesses and that the coping can be mounted without overhanging from an external facing material of a parapet skeleton. <P>SOLUTION: Upper furring strips 9A provided along an upper edge are fixed to a handrail H, so that the panel 8 can be supported. The lower furring strips 9 provided along the lower edge of the panel 8 are fixed to the support 10 in the erection position of the support 10, and the short support 11 is erected between the lower furring strips 9 and an adjusting coping 4B at the midpoint between the erection positions of the supports 10 and 10, so that the panel can be supported. The width dimension of a top surface wall 49 of the adjusting coping 4B in an indoor/outdoor direction is set so that an undersurface of the short support 11 can abut on the top surface wall 49 of the adjusting coping 4B at least within a range that a connecting portion 43 of a coping body 4A and a portion 411 to be connected of the adjusting coping 4B are engaged with each other and fixed in different positions in indoor/outdoor directions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
