PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet type stepping motor with a small diameter by reducing the thickness of a terminal holder in the radius direction. SOLUTION: In a stepping motor 1, a pair of inner yokes 13 which has multiple pole teeth 13a, a pair of bobbins 15 around which a coil 16 is to be wound, and a terminal holder 21 wherein terminals 24 for energizing the coil 16 are to be mounted are integrally formed by insert molding. Each of the terminals 24 consists of a pair of legs 24a and a connecting part 24b for connecting the pair of legs 24a. The terminal holder 21 is formed with multiple holes 21a for storing and fixing the legs 24a of the terminals 24. By press-fitting the pair of legs 24a of the terminals 24 into the multiple holes 21a, the terminals 24 are stored and fixed in the terminal holder 21.
