PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine having game ball passages which is capable of efficiently changing between the state in which the downflow is blocked and the state in which the downflow is permitted. SOLUTION: A take-in mechanism 130 for taking in a game ball fed from island equipment has an outer frame-side take-in unit 140 (an outer frame-side take-in passage 144) composing the upstream side of a series of take-in passages. The outer frame-side take-in unit 140 has a shutter mechanism 200 for blocking outflow of the game ball from the outer frame-side take-in passage 144 by narrowing a downstream opening 151. The shutter mechanism 200 includes a first shutter member 210 projecting from the downstream opening 151 to extend the outer frame-side take-in passage 144 toward the downstream side of a lower inclined passage portion 147, and a second shutter member 230 projecting to an area extended by the first shutter member 210.
