PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly reduce a load on a hydraulic pump in a hydraulic circuit of a transmission to which a hydraulic torque converter is connected. SOLUTION: In one branch circuit 6, an accumulator 11 is installed on the primary side of a pressure reducing valve 10, and a check valve 12 is installed to stop the reverse flow of pressure oil from the accumulator 11 to the other branch circuit 7. In the other branch circuit 7, a relief valve device 14, the set pressure of which can be changed into two high and low stages, is installed on the upstream side of the hydraulic torque converter 9. The set pressure of the relief valve device 14 is higher than the secondary pressure of the pressure reducing valve 10 when the pressure accumulated in the accumulator 11 is less than a predetermined value, and lower than the secondary pressure of the pressure reducing valve 10 when the pressure is equal to or more than the predetermined value.
