PURPOSE: A host and client device and a method for changing class of the device are provided to distribute the device having more than two classes to selected one class. CONSTITUTION: A connection unit(15) communicates with the client device(200) and transmits data. The device information including the first class information of the client device which is connected to the connection unit is registered by the storage unit(13). A control unit(11) controls the client device according to the registered device information. If a class modify request of the client device is created, the first class information in the control unit is included within the device information registered in the storage is deleted.
