APPARATUS FOR TRACKING WELDING LINE

PURPOSE: A device for tracking a welding is provided to extract welding information of the I-groove form based on a processed image data which is taken by a camera. CONSTITUTION: A device for tracking a welding line comprises a welding torch(100), a metal welding wire(110), a laser diode(120), a CCD(Charge Coupled Device) camera(130) and a lighting part(140). The lighting part is installed between the CCD camera and laser diode in order to be reflected one part of the weld line. The laser diode emits laser beam(120a) toward a welding line direction. The CCD camera takes an image of the welding line with light from the laser beam. An image processing part outputs the image.
