PURPOSE: A display device, a display method, and an electronic device are provided to remove a feedback system for emission control by including a display unit with a first light source and a second light source comprised of blue and green light emitting diodes. CONSTITUTION: A first color filter transmits two colors among three primary colors of red, green and blue. A second filter transmits two colors among three primary colors and the transmitted colors are different from the colors which the first color filter transmits. A display panel(108) displays images or video according to first, second and third images or video signal corresponding to three primary colors. A light emitting controller(114) receives a light emitting signal from an image signal processing unit(102) and includes a first light source and a second light source. The first light source inputs at least one light among lights of three primary colors to the display panel as a first input light. The second light source inputs the light of color except the first input light among lights of three primary colors to the display panel as a second input light.
