<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To design all of a telephone handset in use at a compact size, and to improve its operability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The telephone handset 10 has first to third flaps 11 to 13, and a turning means 15 for connecting these first to third flaps 11 to 13 and turning them. The turning means 15 includes first to third turning shafts 27 to 29, each being connected to the first to the third flaps 11 to 13, and a hinge 30 connected to these turning shafts 27 to 29 for relatively turning each of the flaps 11 to 13. Furthermore, the turning means 15 is mounted to turn each of the flaps 11 to 13, in a condition with the flaps 11 to 13 stacked in the thickness direction and the condition with one of the front and back sides of each of the flaps 11 to 13 disposed on the same plane.
