<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner for electrostatic charge image development, which forms an image with stable quality regardless of image forming environment and prevents toner filming. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The toner for electrostatic charge image development contains a resin, a colorant, a release agent and a metal element selected from a group consisting of copper, zinc, titanium, aluminum and calcium by 300 to 5,000 ppm, wherein the release agent is made of a compound having a peak value of 400 to 1,800 in the molecular weight distribution, and the toner contains a metal deactivator comprising a specified compound.
