<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder storage container for quality measurement capable of storing powder in a storage part in a state of having no aperture. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This powder storage container for quality measurement is provided with: a container body 51 having the storage part 53 whose upside is opened, equipped with a bottom wall 53b and a side peripheral wall 53c; and a lid body 52 capable of opening and closing an opening 53a of the storage part 53, and mountable fixedly on the container body 51 in a closed attitude. In the container constituted so that the container body 51 can be mounted to and dismounted from a loading spot in a quality measuring device in a state that the powder and grain as measuring objects are stored in the storage part 53 and the lid body 52 is mounted fixedly in the closed attitude, at least a part of the peripheral direction of the side peripheral wall 53c of the storage part 53 is constituted as a backward-displaceable wall 53F which is backward elastically displaceable.
