POLYESTER FILM FOR OPTICAL USE

PURPOSE: An optical polyester film is provided to ensure excellent light transmission, color-L value and brightness and to be useful for optical parts for LCD. CONSTITUTION: An optical polyester film uses a terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol as a main material and comprises a polyester resin prepared using a germanium-based catalyst. The germanium-based catalyst includes a germanium oxide component. The used amount of the germanium-based catalyst is 10-10,000 ppm based on the polyester resin containing the polyester film.
