PURPOSE: A room monitoring and management system and a room monitoring and management method are provided to easily store entry/exit information regarding visitors without sacrificing the security of registrant information. CONSTITUTION: Personal information of visitors is recorded in a visitor card. A room entry/exit decider of a control device(30) notifies a management device(40) of a history registration indication. The history registration indication comprises personal information read from the visitor card. A history management unit of the management device stores the history information, including the personal information of the visitor, in a history information storage unit. |
