POWER SUPPLY OF MULTIMEDIA SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A power supply of a multimedia system for a vehicle is provided to prevent unnecessary power consumption by blocking the power supply from an auxiliary battery when separating the multimedia system from the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A central processor(22) and a memory(23) are operated by the power supplied from a vehicle battery(1). An auxiliary battery(6) supplies the voltage of a preset level. A power supply sensor sense the power supply from the vehicle battery. A mounting detector(2) detects whether the multimedia system is mounted on the vehicle. A switch circuit(10) controls the power supply for the central processor and the memory based on the output signal of the mounting detector and the power supply detector.
