METHOD FOR PREVENTING SLAG OVER FLOW OF VACUUM REFINING PROCESS

PURPOSE: An operating method for preventing slag overflow of a vacuum refining process is provided to control the input quantity and point of time of a slag aid in order to reduce the amount of slag. CONSTITUTION: An operating method for preventing slag overflow of a vacuum refining process comprises: a first step of refinishing molten metal using a vacuum refining facility(VD-OB) and secondly refinishing molten metal using electricity, and increasing the temperature by inputting quicklime and dolomite into a ladle when tapping the molten metal to the ladle; a second step of moving the ladle to the vacuum refining facility and decompressing; and a third step of performing a desulfurization process by additionally inputting the quicklime.
