PURPOSE: A method for hot rolling of steel material is provided to control the pressing force based on the weight difference between an estimated material and actual material. CONSTITUTION: A method for hot rolling of steel material comprises: a step of inputting the material information which puts into to a conveyor table(S10); a step of measuring the actual weight of the material to be inputted to the conveyor table and inputting to a control panel of the engineer's cabin(S20); a step of producing the theory weight based on the material information in the control panel(S30); a step of producing the difference between the actual weight and the theory weight(S40); and a step of producing a rolling product by amending the pressing force of a rolling mill(S50).
