GLASS FIBER REINFORCED PLASTIC MANHOLE AND METHOD FOR FABRICATING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A glass fiber reinforced plastic manhole and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to securely maintain a fastening state against shock or load. CONSTITUTION: A glass fiber reinforced plastic manhole comprises a manhole main body(10), a lower slab, and an upper slab. The manhole main body is composed by piling up glass fibers. The lower slab is formed by reinforced concrete, and coupled to the bottom of the manhole main body. The upper slab covers the top of the manhole main body. The lower slab is composed of first reinforcing bars(91) and second reinforcing bars(92). The first reinforcing bars are arranged in order to supply strength to the concrete. The second reinforcing bars are arranged passing through an inner wall of the manhole main body.
