<p>In a printer of the invention, a plurality of head units each including a line thermal head having heat-generating elements arranged in a direction orthogonal to a conveying direction of a recording paper are arranged in the conveying direction of the recording paper. The head unit has an angle-adjusting means that adjusts the angle between the conveying direction of the recording paper, and the arranging direction of the heat-generating elements, and a position-adjusting means that slidingly moves thermal head in the arranging direction of the heat-generating elements. An angle-adjusting screw of the angle-adjusting means and a position-adjusting screw of the position-adjusting means are disposed at an external surface of the head unit, which is orthogonal to the line thermal head.
