PURPOSE: A method for providing a supplementary service according to a communication event in a mobile communication terminal, and the mobile communication terminal applied to the method are provided to improve a use rate of the supplementary service, thereby making high supplementary service profits. CONSTITUTION: A controller of a mobile communication terminal checks generation of one of preset communication events(S1). The controller provides supplementary service guide information of a memory unit to a user(S2). The controller checks selection of a supplementary service(S3). The controller requests a corresponding supplementary service to a mobile communication network system through the mobile communication unit(S4). The mobile communication network system checks the supplementary service(S5). The mobile communication network system offers a corresponding supplementary service to a mobile communication terminal(S6).
