[Also in Group XXVIII] The front surfaces 12, Fig. 6, of prefabricated heat-insulation panels assembled on a wall are coated with resin adhesive F and the joint lines between adjacent panels are covered by strips of aluminium 45 bonded at their outer margins 46 to the panels leaving a central expandible portion 47. In a modification the panels are lined with overlapping layers 65, Fig. 7, of aluminium, copper or stainless steel bonded at their overlap and each having expansion section 66 adjacent the joint line of adjacent panels.
