PURPOSE: An electric component with a lower work function is provided to prevent an arc discharge and a welding short circuit between electrical contacts by reducing the resistance between electrical contacts. CONSTITUTION: An electrical component(100) includes two electric contacts(102,106). Two electric contacts relatively move on an open position and a closed position. At least one of two electrical contacts include the material of the work function below 3.5 eV. The interval between two electrical contacts is 0 to 30 nm on the closed position. Two electrical contacts include a layer positioned on at least one substrate.
