METHOD OF OPTIMIZING ROUTE FOR DATA PACKET TRANSMISSION BETWEEN MOBILE NODE AND ONLINK NODE USING ROUTING TABLE IN MOBILE ACCESS GATEWAY OF PMIPV6 ENVIRONMENT

PURPOSE: A method of optimizing a route for data packet transmission between a mobile node and an on link node using a routing table in a mobile access gateway of a PMIPV6 environment are provided to prevent a triangle routing phenomenon during data packet transmission between the mobile node and the on link node. CONSTITUTION: When a routing table entry of an MAG2 which is an MAG of an ON(On-link Node) exists in a routing table which is an MAG1 which is an MAG of an MN, the MAG1 finds an IP address of the MAG2 using an SPD(Security Policy Database). The MAG1 generates an RO State. The MAG1 uses the IP address to transmit an RO setup message to the MAG2. The MAG2 generates/activates an RO state. The MAG2 sends an RO setup acknowledge message to the MAG1.
