PURPOSE: A Computer Numerical Control relieving lathe is provided to continuously and easily produce a hob by installing a shock absorber. CONSTITUTION: A CNC relieving lathe(100) is composed of body horizontal moving tables(10), body longitudinal moving units(20), and a worktable(50). The body longitudinal moving unit is composed of a support unit, a body longitudinal moving table, a ball screw, and a rotating unit. The ball screw is formed between the support unit and the body longitudinal moving table. The rotating unit is composed of a screw, a pulley, a screw belt, and an encoder. The screw belt powers the screw belt. The encoder senses the rotation of the ball screw. The worktable is longitudinally slid on the top of the body longitudinal moving table by a cam actuating unit(30) and a restoring spring.
