摘要 Provided is a power transmission system, which has little power loss and which is small-sized but can improve its mountability.The power transmission system comprises a first prime mover (2), a plurality of speed change gear pairs (14-17) and output members (11 and 12). Further comprised are a differential mechanism (1) including a first rotation element (Cr) connected to the first prime mover (2), a second rotation element (Rg) and a third rotation element (Sn) for outputting a power selectively to the output members, thereby to perform differential actions among at least those three rotation elements, and a second prime mover (3) connected to the second rotation element. The speed change gear pairs include at least one pair of first speed change gear pairs interposed between the first rotation element and the output members and selectively brought into a power transmittable state, and at least one pair of second speed change gear pairs interposed between the third rotation element and the output members and selectively brought into a power transmittable state. Still further comprised is a lock mechanism (SL) for fixing the second prime mover selectively in an irrotational state.
