The device (3) has an electrical machine (5) arranged to a frictional switch element designed as a brake (6). Torque is introduced into a force flow for synchronization of an automatic transmission device (4) with respect to a target transmission, which is introduced by an up-shifting requirement. The torque is introduced into the force flow by the electrical machine and by the brake and is presettable in a region of a control and regulating device (8) actuating the electrical machine and the brake. The switch elements of the automated transmission device are designed as jaw clutches and as synchronizers. An independent claim is also included for a method for actuation of a transmission device.
