FILLER TUBE ASSEMBLY FOR AUTOMOBILE AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A filler tube assembly for a vehicle and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve productivity by reducing a failure rate and simplifying the process. CONSTITUTION: A filler tube assembly for a vehicle comprises a fuel feed tube(10) which provides fuel to a fuel tank of the vehicle, a gas circulation tube(20) which is connected to the leading end of the fuel feed tube on one end and to the fuel tank on the other, a tube cap(30) which is connected to the leading end of the fuel feed tube, a bracket(50) which is assembled to the read end of the fuel feed tube and fixed to the vehicle body, and a shutter(40) which is made of synthetic resin and attached to the inner side of the leading end of the fuel feed tube so as to prevent backflow of fuel. The fuel feed tube, the gas circulation tube, the tube cap, and the bracket are made of steel material. A metal adhesive is applied between the fuel feed tube and the gas circulation tube, between the fuel feed tube and the tube cap, or between the fuel feed tube and the bracket.
