PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for transmitting and receiving data in wireless mesh network system are provided to minimize the equipment and the server of data offering company for transmitting and receiving through each terminal. CONSTITUTION: Data is saved in a server(210). A plurality of terminals(221-224) is connected to each other through the WMN(Wireless Mesh Network). One or more first terminals receive data from the server. The third terminal is connected to the first terminal. The third terminal performs data transmission or reception with the second terminal among the first terminals based on the connection state confirmation result. The third terminal receives data from the server or the second terminal.
