The valve has an inlet and outlet duct as well as a valve seat in the casing, and a shank or shaft stem to control the closure. The shaft stem is under the influence of an operating member and a reference spring, acting in opposition. The spring is essentially a direct bending type spring, one end of which is at the shaft end and fits in the hollow case in a position about vertical to the stem. The other end of the spring is housed in a support held in the hollow space. |
