METHOD FOR FABRICATING OF ORGANIC SOLAR CELLS BY PATTERNING NANOSCALE TRANSPARENT CONDUCTING OXIDE ELECTRODE

<p>PURPOSE: A method for fabricating of an organic solar cells by patterning a nano-scale transparent conducting oxide electrode are provided to increase the light energy conversion efficiency of an organic solar cell by increasing the surface of device and generating a light trapping effect. CONSTITUTION: A transparent electrode(2) is provided on a coated glass substrates(1). The surface of the transparent electrode is patterned. A photo-active layer(3) including an electron donor and an electron-receptor is formed on the patterned transparent electrode. A metal halide layer(4) and a metal electrode layer(5) are formed on the photo-active layer. The transparent electrode is the indium tin oxide. The electron-receptor of the photo-active layer is a fullerene or a fullerene derivative. The electron donor uses poly-p-phenylenevinylene series polymer or the polythiophene system derivative.</p>
