WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM WITH MULTIPLE TRANSMISSION ANTENNAS USING PILOT SUBCARRIER ALLOCATION

PURPOSE: A wireless communication system with a multiple transmission antennas using pilot subcarrier allocation is provided to reduce the complexity of interoperability by improving the channel estimation performance. CONSTITUTION: An OFDMA(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) signal is received from a MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output) antenna system having four antennas. An OFDMA signal is demodulated in order to generate the resources block of 18X7 matrixes. Four pilot symbols are detected among 7 OFDMA symbols, and the channel estimation is performed based on the four detected pilot symbols.
