PRIMER SET, METHOD AND KIT FOR AMPLIFYING CROP SEED-SPECIFIC GENE

PURPOSE: A primer set for gene amplification of galactinol synthase is provided to effectively and acutely enhance reliability of diagnosis. CONSTITUTION: A primer set for gene amplification of galactinol synthetase which is derived from crop seed is selected from oligonucleotide primer set of sequence numbers 1 to 30. The crop is water melon, cucumber, melon, red pepper, tomato, Chinese cabbage, radish, or soybean. A method for specifically amplifying galactinol synthetase gene of crop seed comprises: a step of isolating total RNA from crop seed sample; a step of performing RT-PCR using oligonucelotide primer set and N-primer to amplify target sequence; and a step of detecting amplication product. The length of N-primer is 20-30 nucleotide. A kit for specifically amplifying galactinol synthetase gene of crop seed comprises oligonucleotide primer set, and reagent for performing RT-PCR.
