<p>PURPOSE: A system and a method for transmitting the information of channel quality are provided to distribute the downlink wireless resources fairly and efficiently through a scheduler. CONSTITUTION: A base station(120-124) transmits data to mobile terminals(110-114), which are placed at a coverage area, through downlink. The mobile terminal transmits first data including TFCI information, through an HS-SICH. In addition, the mobile terminal transmits second data including CQI information, to the base station through an A-DPCH. By allocating TFCI information to 4 bits of a second sub-frame after allocating TFCI information of the 8 bits of the first sub-frame, the mobile terminal transmits the TFCI information of total 12 bits to the base station.</p> |
