METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING FOCUS OF APPLICATION

PURPOSE: A focus controlling method of an application for preventing the forced focus movement in a web browser and an apparatus thereof are provided to solve an inconvenience of a user without intention of the application. CONSTITUTION: An input event of a user is detected from an input device(330). A focus control syntax is extracted by parsing HTML or a java script. It checks whether the movement of a focus about a contents is requested(335). It checks whether a focus lock is detected with reference to the descriptive data(340). If the focus descriptive data is detected, the focus by the user input maintains and the focus movement by the contents is disregarded.
