PURPOSE: A method for object tracking is provided to use inherent object identification information of the object through cooperation with a CCTV when tracking the object on the CCTV, thereby efficiently tracking the object. CONSTITUTION: An image tracking device for monitoring an area same as an object identification device receives object identification information of an entry object which enters the area from the object identification device(S202). The image tracking device tracks the entry object and extracts physical information of the entry object. It the entry object enters an area of other image tracking device, the image tracking device provides the object identification information and the physical information(S208). The object identification device uses an ID/password, a certificate, an RFID(Radio Frequency ID), a smart card, or a biometric signal to identify the entry object.
