PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for multiple IP addresses setup in a mobile communication system are provided to enable the connection to a secured domain of a mobile communication system even when using a wireless LAN in a dual-mode terminal. CONSTITUTION: A connection administrator of a dual-mode terminal opens a socket(410), and determines a necessary access tool according to a specific application program(420). The connection administrator obtains an IP address to be used by using the access tool under the control over the TCP/IP(430). The connection administrator performs a socket binding operation by using the obtained IP address(440). The application program initiates communication, and it is judged whether or not there is from the other application programs a trial for opening a socket(450).
