PURPOSE: Polyethylene terephthalate tire cord and a tire including the same are provided to improve ride comfort and adjustability of a vehicle and high driving capacity of the tire, and to offer good modulus and shape stability. CONSTITUTION: Polyethylene terephthalate tire cord is thermally processed for 2 minutes under the load of 0.01 g/d in 180 °C. The extension rates of the polyethylene terephthalate tire cord is 0.5~2.0%. When the load of 4.5kg/2000d is applied to the polyethylene terephthalate tire cord, the tire cord has the extension rate of 3.0~6.0%. The extension rate of the polyethylene terephthalate tire cord is 0.3~1.7% before a thermally process of the polyethylene terephthalate tire cord. The tire cord has a cap ply(4) a belt(5) etc.
