METHOD FOR CORRECTING DISTORTIONS IN AN EPI IMAGE PRODUCED BY AN ULTRA HIGH FIELD MRI SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for compensating EPI image distortion in ultra high magnetic field MRI is provided to correct the distortion by magnetic field by applying mobile map to add image and even image. CONSTITUTION: A method for compensating EPI image distortion in ultra high magnetic field MRI comprises: a step of generating EPI image; a step of generating 3D frequency space(S102); a step of converting the 3D frequency space data to 3D PSF(point spread function) through space domain conversion(S104); a step of generating PSF mapping data(S106); a step of generating mobile map based on PSF mapping data(S108); and a step of applying the mobile map to EPI image(S110).
