PURPOSE: A variable capacitance rotary compressor is provided to reduce the number of assembly processes for connected an intake pipe to the casing and the accumulator. CONSTITUTION: A variable capacitance rotary compressor comprises a plurality of cylinders(310,410), a plurality of bearings(110,130), an intake pipe(140), a rolling piston(320), a plurality of vanes(330), and a vane restraining unit. The cylinders are installed inside a casing. The intake pipe distributes a coolant to the compression spaces of the cylinders. The rolling piston compresses the coolant. The vanes divide the compression space of each cylinder into an intake space and a discharge space. The vane restraining unit changes the operating mode of the compressor by restraining or releasing the vane of at least one of the cylinders. |
