<p>PURPOSE: An air-conditioner and a control method thereof are provided to display the operation state of the indoor unit by mounting a light source near the vent of the indoor unit. CONSTITUTION: An air-conditioner comprises light sources(8,9,10) and a controller. The light sources are installed adjacent to a vent of an indoor unit(1). The light sources implement various luminance and colors according to the operating mode of the indoor unit. The controller changes the luminance and colors of the light sources according to the operating state of the indoor unit.</p> |
