PURPOSE: A steam generator of a cleaner is provided to improve exothermic performance of a heater by reducing the internal thermal resistance. CONSTITUTION: A heating element is formed with a ceramic element(600). A case(400) comprises an insulating member in inside the heating element. The insulating member is located between the heating element and the case and insulates the heating element. The insulating layer is formed with one of magnesium oxide, slurry phase insulator(800) and insulating film. The insulating layer consists of a first insulation layer and a second insulation layer. A second insulation layer surrounds a first insulation layer and is formed with an insulating sheet(500). The case is made of the aluminum material.
