The device (1) has an arch wire (2) connected to an attachment unit (3) at an end. The attachment unit is attached with a molar tooth across a ring (4) surrounding the molar tooth. A regulating unit (5) regulates stress applied on the ring by the arch wire at level of anteroposterior, transverse, vertical and rotational actions, which are independent to each other. The regulating unit is partially formed by the arch wire forming loops, where the loops are reciprocally contained in horizontal and vertical planes. An independent claim is also included for a method for adjusting an orthodontic correction device.
