A support including: an attachment for attaching the support to a vehicle; a first arm connected to the attachment; and a second arm pivotally connected to the first arm and including a support coupling fitting configured to engage with a container coupling fitting located on a container to be attached to the second arm. The range of relative pivotal movement of the second arm with respect to the first arm is between zero and approximately 150 degrees. The attachment includes a coupling including a vehicle coupling fitting for fixing to a tow bar of the vehicle and an attachment coupling fitting fixed to the support attachment, the coupling capable of being reversibly engaged to releasably secure the support to the vehicle.
