The invention relates to a process for the desorption of uranium from ion-exchange resins. According to the invention, the process takes place in a dynamic elution mode, using either a solution containing 0.1N HNO3 and 0.9N NH4NO3 in case of a resin charged with uranyl bisulphate and trisulphate, or a solution containing 100g NaCl and 10g Na2CO3/l in case of a resin charged with uranyl tricarbonate. The elution of the uranium-charged resin takes place in an ultrasound field with continuous ultrasound flow, having a power of 120 W and a frequency of 35 KHz, at an eluent volume of 4 BEV and an eluent flow rate of 1 BEV/h.
|
