The device (1) has a U-shaped clip forming piece (2) whose upper and lower branches (5, 6) are traversed by coaxial orifices, and an inserting piece i.e. nut (3), in the form of a strut (10) provided with a cylindrical pillar (11). The nut is inserted between the branches of the clip forming piece in such a manner that the pillar is engaged in an orifice (8) of one of the branches and an edge of a support is engaged between a strut face opposite to the pillar and the other branch. The pillar is interiorly slicked and made of material permitting passage and anchorage of a self-tapping screw.
